With a wide range of experience and training including: coaching in TV, Film and West End Theatre; a Masters in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama; Certification in Vocal Combat Technique; and over 14 years of teaching in prestigious Drama Schools and Universities, I have the skills and experience to support clients and adapt to their unique requirements.
Recent credits include: coaching the new voice of Wallace, Ben Whitehead, in the BAFTA Award winning and Oscar nominated Wallace and Gromit Vengeance Most Fowl; working with Ella Purnell in TV series SweetPea; Associate Voice & Dialect Coach on Stranger Things: The First Shadow and Voice Coach on Matilda The Musical both in London's West End.

Accent & Dialect Coaching
I work with actors to transform their own unique sound into a truthful, fully embodied dialect, that is accurate for the character, geographical area and period of the production. With time and research I can support with most accents but below is a selection of some of the accents I've coached: Welsh (Borders/Midlands, Cardiff and Valleys) West Country (Cornwall, Devon, Bristol); RP (Received Pronunciation) and heightened RP; SSE (Standard Southern English) MLE (Multicultural London English); various Northern accents including Yorkshire, Lancashire, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow; Dublin, Northern Ireland, Cockney and Essex. I have coached the following US accents: 'Generic American', New York, Alabama and Texas. I have also coached English speaking accents of French, German, Russian, Spanish and Italian. I am also a French language speaker.
Voice Coaching for Performers
I understand the demands on the performer's voice and I work hard to ensure my coaching is relevant and practical to make your life a bit easier!
I have a range of knowledge that allows me to troubleshoot any vocal challenges that may come up and find the appropriate and most effective exercise/approach to support you. I am trained in Vocal Combat Technique, meaning, if you need to shout, scream, growl or cry, I can help you do it sustainably without impacting your vocal health.
Previous clients have found a greater understanding of their own vocal function and have found more freedom and ease in their expression, as well as developing the vocal athleticism and energy to voice effectively and healthily in high vocal load situations. They have discovered vocal power; more presence on stage and in front of the camera and the ability to project and find confidence in their voices.
